Eureka!

I FOUND IT!

Flu tablets make me SLEEP!

Ahhhh.. I suppose good things do come out from bad ones. I have been down with a massive throat infection for the past two weeks and guess what? I noticed a direct correlation with my better sleeping with flu tablets. Sweeeeetness! I'm in heaven. I guess I can throw them melatonin and valerian tablets out the window :)

This calls for a celebration! Mmmmmm...... Sleep.

A heart endoscopy

It looks like the Junebug has been single for nearly a year and a little bird seems to be hinting that the bug is somehow ready for love again. Ah, the joy of being in love. I suppose that may explain why I suddenly have a list of potential dates that spans from A-Z popping up before me. I am finally considering the options. Yes, I really am. Speaking of which, I almost dumped myself into a relationship with this one dude quite recently. He turned out to be a sleuche (a sleaze + douche) quite sadly.

Anyway, after much thought, I am still not certain if I am really up (or fit enough) for a new relationship. I was just thinking, if I were to allow myself to be in love with someone I do adore, I would actually want that relationship to last knowing how incredibly choosy I can be. This means it would be something more of a long-term thing instead of a flingy casual sex kinda thing. But looking at my age calendar, I am now 20 and I don't fancy having another 2-5 years of my life being gobbled up by one massive relationship such as my previous one which fails at the end of the day. Or perhaps I should just jump into a relationship first and worry later? Who knows, it could prove to be worthwhile right? It's quite a gamble though and the Junebug does not like making uncalculated decisions.

I get asked quite often here why a girl of my calibre *ahem LOL* is unattached. Truthfully, I don't find great necessity in being in a relationship as much as I enjoy being in love. Love is not always that rosy anyway. I quite enjoy my singledom. I have that blissful freedom of teasing and flirting with whoever I want obligations and guilt free. The other reason to that is I have not found someone I adore enough to give in to completely. I don't want to be in a half arsed commitment because that would not be very fair and if I do find that special someone who's able to sweep me off my feet, he would very surely have my utmost trust, loyalty and love.

I think those close to me would know just how much I adore intelligent boys with a professional career who are generally a couple years my senior. I mean, seriously, nothing turns me on more than having a guy I can talk about global issues, politics, religion, science, sexuality and random quirky things to. Ultimately, I guess, I would just like to be someone who loves me and treats me well. I'd just really like to be with someone I could love wholeheartedly and draw great inspiration and admiration from. Being a good kisser is a requisite though LOL. Anyway, I don't suppose I'm asking for too much. The search, however, does prove to be a lot more difficult than said. I suppose the Junebug will not be falling in love any time too soon as forecasted.

June-1 Cockroach-0

I feel extreme hostility when approached my a cockroach

That poor bugger in the above picture has just been flushed down the toilet. I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how to corner and get hold of it and I am traumatised. ARGH. It's the third time this spring that I had to do that! Thank god for Kneelex's 50% larger 3-ply tissue paper LOL. BUT SERIOUSLY OMG. Why is Australia plagued with all these horrible little creepy crawlies! Roaches, small teeny spiders, HUGE furry spiders, crickets, hideous bloated houseflies and more roaches. What the fuck.

I am only glad I'm gonna be home for the entire summer. I was starting to get paranoid about my flat and bedroom being ghastly infested by them *shudders*

My brain is officially fried

Image source: Geology 102 Lecture 16

Four down and one to go. I think Geology 102 has killed a portion of my brain.. especially the bits on metamorphism. Metamorphic isograds, the formation, mineral assemblages for Barrovian-style regional metamorphism, retrogression, metamorphic facies, phase diagrams, mineral stability bla bla. All that in three weeks worth of Geology 102 lectures hey.

Anyhoo, after my exam today, I decided to make up for loss sleep by napping my afternoon away. Just while I was dozing off, my thoughts ran stray. Half awake, I was just thinking about my metamorphic stuff for a bit. And suddenly for a quick minute, my brain just went wilddddd. It somehow suddenly god-knows-why started to think that metamorphic rocks are a product of igneous and sedimentary rock sex. LOL So apparently in subduction zones where metamorphism occurs or during magmatic intrusions, rocks somehow have sex with each other there and tadah, produce something new. LOL. I was surprised. Very surprised in fact, almost shocked, and also very much embarrassed by the fact that my brain is capable of coming up with such uncanny thoughts. I guess that goes to show my brain is really fried. Crispy brain on satay stick anyone? :(

Actually, on second thought, I think 'rock sex' is a much needed simplification for metamorphism.

Size does matter

And I have come to conclusion that, for that matter, sex before marriage is important. Superficial, yes but, what's worse than subjecting yourself to the possibility of never having the kind of mind-blowing sex you deserve.

Size varies, be it a man's penis or a woman's vagina. There's an average range of course. After much random sex talks with my guy friends (those who know me well will be quite familiar with this habit I have :D), it seems like Asian guys, Malaysian guys at least, average at 5". White guys seem to be about 7". I could be wrong of course because I am just judging based on the claims I have received but let's assume they're true for now.

There's also always that case of the below average and above average. Some Asian guys I know barely make it to 4", whilst some, can go up to 7". Rare perhaps, but not unusual. However, unlike a penis, the vagina is like an abyss. It is unknown until... you know, some testings or experiments have been conducted LOL Vaginas also have a varying size/capacity. Some girls can handle more cock whilst some can only handle a teeny bit of cock. Eg. european chicks vs japanese chicks? Even within the same demographics group that variation is present. Some Asian girls can only handle a mere 4" at most and some can handle all the way till perhaps.. 12", and most I suppose, would be happy with an average one of 5-6" but maybe not all with some wanting a bit more or less.

And the point is, if you're a girl, unless you have experimented, you don't really know how much your insides can handle. And for a guy, you don't know how much you can satisfy unless you've tried. You could be a girl with a dude who's barely 4" and you constantly crave for something more or you could be a girl who'd love an 8" to find out you can just handle a 4". That or you could be a dude who's small and could never quite know how to please your partner because the size thing gets into the way (and vice versa). Instead of whinging about the size issue, you should try to find someone that 'fits'. Everyone is made for someone anyway.

Sooooo, the moral of the story, don't say no to sex before marriage LOL. It is pretty important to know what you want and get before you settle (permanently) for it. What's worse than being with someone you could never feel too sexually fulfilled with and being stuck with that for a large part of your life :O

Indecisive like a girl

I love being practical and straight to the point. When I am unable to make a decision for myself, it drives me crazyyyyyyyy. Oh, the dilemma!

Should I take the right path where there's nothing left? or should I take the left path where nothing is right? Mr Parrot (and Joyce) has a ponder.

Now I'm just thinking, should I sit for my GEO114 paper tomorrow? I would be able to get it off my chest asap but suffer almost 4 days straight of exams with a high probability of ending up VERY cranky. And nobody likes being cranky.

OR should I leave it till the 20th and finish way later than everyone else?

Don't you talk to me like you know me better than myself

Letting go lightly

One of my housemates have moved out from the flat today to be in Queensland. Slowly, all of us would have to eventually move out and I'll be the only one coming back in to Flat 48 next year. I have had a great year here living with my housemates. Their presence has helped me to settle nicely here in Perth and staying on campus means I am never short of friends. The boys were quite a pain in the arse though - just imagine discovering your bottle of Chivas that is only 1/3 consumed one day being filled up with dried chili flakes! Argh!

But anyway, that brings me to think just how temporarily some things like friendship and acquaintanceship can get. When separate paths are taken, people start to drift away from one another regardless of how close they once were. Whenever I accept new friend requests on Facebook from people I meet here, I think bitterly to myself how I would not see quite a number of them again after a semester or two because our stay here, including mine, as a foreign student is so temporary and uncertain.

This has lead me to think that we involve ourselves in this sort of awkward interaction because we need to in order to adapt more so than to genuinely have friends. The people you've gotten to know are mostly kept at your disposal. I will miss my housemates dearly but I am aware that I will have new ones again whom hopefully, I would have a great time as I did with the ones I had.

And the cycle continues..

Did the chicken actually make it across alive?

On some days when I'm insomnia ridden, I find myself wondering whether that's the day I'd stumble upon my own death. With my focus blurry and mind groggy, I keep thinking of how it's highly possible that I'd get run over by a car when I'm crossing the road. It scares me sometimes how it can seem like an unbelievably difficult task to just double check the traffic before crossing with a tired mind.
